Comprised of members from Oldominon, Down Since Day One, and 5E, Dim Mak just might be the
most uniquely credible underground hip hop collective in the Northwest. Together, MCs Bishop I, Gash, and Azrael present a formidable verbal arsenal built on a foundation of dark, brooding production from North Czar, Esoteric, and Bitz, creating a punishing, knights-of-the-apocolypse aestethic that stands out in a sea of emo backpackers and fake thugs.
Fitting for a group that turned an abandoned 1500 sq. ft. boiler room into a full-fledged recording/production studio all on their own.
Their buzzworthy independent EP release, EPoch, was not only well-received by fans of the group's militaristic sound but also by critics and hip hop heads both local and nationally. Featuring dynamic performances from DJ Scene of Boom Bap Project, as well as Onry Ozzborn & JFK of Grayskul (of Rhymesayers Ent.), EPoch is only the first glimpse into Dim Mak's promising future--one likely to be realized with the forthcoming release of "The Metra," their greatly anticipated double LP

"Dim Mak is hard on the nerves. The music is loud, bombastic, and attacks
the ears with a destructive force that has its visual equivalent in the
Shock and Awe operation that flattened Baghdad in March of 2003. This is not
an exaggeration. In fact, one of the reasons why Dim Mak ranks with the best
hip hop crews in Seattle is because, whether you agree or disagree with the
group's militaristic aesthetic, they are consummate professionals. Nothing
on Epoch is half-baked or underdeveloped. You won't find a hint of laziness
in the production of their nightmarish war zones. Only the hardest heads can
survive Dim Mak's army of beats and raps." THE STRANGER
